A visa application for the UK is very complex. It requires a lot of information and documents.

If we can support you in the application process, please send us an email to info@allvisumservice.ch with the desired visa that you would like to apply for. We will then send you an advance invoice, which you can conveniently pay by card, Twint or bank/post. As soon as we have received your payment, we will send you our questionnaire so that we can prepare your visa application, pay the fees and book and confirm your appointment at the visa center.

A visa for the UK must be applied for at a personal appointment at the visa center. AVS supports you throughout the application process so that you can arrive at the appointment equipped with the necessary information and documents.

When you submit the documents to the visa center, AVS's order is fully fulfilled.

The total costs are payable in advance:

AVS processing fees:

Tourist visa, standard: CHF 289.00, excl. VAT

Tourist visa, express: CHF 329.00, excl. VAT

Business visa, standard: CHF 349.00, excl. VAT

Business visa, express: CHF 389.00, excl. VAT

Plus: Standard visa application fees:

- Visa validity of 6 months from issue: EUR 142.00

- Visa validity of 2 years from issue: EUR 532.00

- Visa validity of 5 years from issue: EUR 949.00

Plus:
- Visa center fees: CHF 95.00

- Prime Time Appointment for an appointment within 1-3 weeks: CHF 150.00
- DHL Courier fee: CHF 35.00
- Keep my passport: EUR 125.00
- Express-Visa: EUR 620.00*

*Express visas are not available for all nationalities.

Receipt of dates and documents for the interview:
within 5 working days after receipt of payment and the application, if complete

Appointment availability of the embassy:
For a prime time surcharge you will receive an appointment within a few days, without a surcharge within 3-4 weeks.

Duration to obtain visa / passport after your appointment:
Standard processing: up to 5 weeks
Priority processing: up to 3 weeks

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ETA:
All citizens who are currently exempt from visa requirements will soon be required to obtain an ETA for the UK.

Nationalities of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates already require an ETA.

From 08.01.2025, an ETA will be required for entry to the UK for the following nationalities:
Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina , Australia ,The Bahamas , Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Kiribati, Macao Special Administrative Region, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mexico, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Palau, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Korea, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia,,St Vincent and the Grenadines, Taiwan, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, United States, Uruguay.

The ETA can be applied for from 27.11.2024. 

From 02.04.2025, an ETA will be required for entry to the UK for the following nationalities:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City.

The ETA can be applied for from 05.03.2025.
